It works best in my opinion when the computer is stationary - in other words it makes my laptop a little clunky to work with in my lap when trying to use in a lobby, waiting room, or other such place but it is great when using on a desk in a stationary position.

It seems to me that the N USB with its attached antenna does a much better job connecting and staying connected and has a stronger signal than the other adapters I used.
